With so many emerging changes in an ever evolving industry, it is very hard to find artists who are uncompromising, yet relatable and true. Well the ladies of Trinitee 5:7 (Chanelle, Angel, and Adrian) are just that; not to mention they are spiritual, poised, admirable, and (of course) stylish! We at MCP set down with the newly signed Music World Management, Gospel trio to talk about their religion, reality, and relatability.

Jamaur: How are you ladies today?

Trinitee 5:7: (All) Great!

Jamaur: First welcome back and thank you again for letting us have more time with you three; we love you all so much.

T5:7: (All) we are excited, thank you.

Jamaur: My first question is for Chanelle; tell me, how do you find balance being a Gospel artist and an everyday black woman?

Chanelle: Well, I’m completely in love with myself and grateful for my health. I continue to maintain by reading books and by being home. I (also) enjoy giving back at my youth center, which is stationed in my home town, I love staying in touch with those in need.

Jamaur: Adrian, being that T5:7 are pretty much a household name, do you ever find it hard to get privacy when you are out and about, at the mall, Wal-Mart, or just hanging out around town (laughs)?

Adrian: I think you have to be wise when you’ve traveled allot and seen the beauties of life. If I'm in Wal-Mart most are pleasant to me, and I’m okay with it.

Jamaur: Angel, your latest album, “Trinitee 5:7” is so special and the production is beautiful, tell us what makes this one (out of all of the albums) so special to Trinitee 5:7?

Angel: One of the major things about this album is the fact that we wrote most of the songs. With this album, we were more transparent and the fact that we really love God, who is so real, made this album even better.

Jamaur: Chanelle, I noticed that you guys did a lot of writing on this album and had a very strong involvement with the production, what is your favorite song (that you all wrote) on the album?

Chanelle: (Thinks) Hmm. One of my favorite songs is, “I Still Love You.” When I wrote that song, it came from a deep part of self, I had recently experienced love and was dealing with letting go, and once I got this song out, I was healed. Many women come to us and tell us that the song helped to heal them.

Jamaur: So Chanelle is there any advice that you would like to offer to young female Gospel groups coming into the industry after you all?

Chanelle: One of the main things is ‘embracing your uniqueness and authenticity.’ There is a great pull in the industry, but God made you so unique, and I think it’s important to celebrate God for that.

Jamaur: Adrian, what’s next for the girls, individually and collectively?

Adrian: We have more albums, and Chanelle wants to get into Broadway and acting, Angel is going to get deeper into song writing, and I have a beauty and lifestyle brand which will be coming out very soon. As a group we plan to go deeper into charity work, and we plan to do some corporate seminars to speak with new artists, and those just entering the industry. We have a lot of work to do together as well as apart, and it’s going to take us some time, but we will strive for our work over the next few years.

Jamaur: Well ladies, we here at Middle Child Promotions are all about ‘The Exclusive,’ so tell us something about the ladies of Trinitee 5:7 that your fans and the public might not know?

All: We have to think about that (laughs).

Adrian: I am a star gazer. I always have to stop and look at the starts to wind down, sometimes when we’re out traveling, I have to stop the bus or just step outside to look at the sky. No night that God created is ever the same; he never paints the same sky twice.

Chanelle: I adore horses; I really love the American Paint breed, they are so gentle. When I have the time, I go and ride horse back.

Angel: (Laughs). I am very spoiled; I am the only girl in my family.

Jamaur: Well ladies before we go, I just want to take the time to let you know that the music that you all create is so inspirational and that you are truly touching so many with your sound and spirits, and I believe that since the inception of your careers that you all have gained such a strong following (present party included). I love your new album, and I especially love your song, “Beautiful Girl,” it’s so upbeat and speaks volumes to the young ladies of today, which is so very important!

Adrian: Thank you so very much, that means a lot coming from a guy, it’s so important to know that our music touches everyone.

Jamaur: Well ladies, is there anything else that you would like to share with us?

Chanelle: We hope that everyone caught our performance at the ’50th Annual Grammy’s,’ it was very special. We will also be performing on B.E.T’s ‘Tribute to Aretha Franklin,’ we encourage everyone to visit our Myspace page, and we just hope that we have touched everyone as much as they have touched us!

Jamaur: Thank you ladies so much for your time, God bless you all.
