Various – Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns Soundtrack

One thing I must give Tyler Perry credit for, it that not only does he seem to consistently give wholesome good movies and stage plays, but he also ALWAYS delivers a hot soundtrack to accompany it. So, of course, Meet The Browns Soundtrack was not going to be any different.

This collaborative set includes soul stirring song selections from some the of biggest names in R&B/Soul and Gospel music including Musiq SoulChild, the late Gerald Levert, Brandy, Case, Coko (formerly of SWV), Kelly Price, Deborah Cox, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, Ledisi and many more to give you just what you’ll find in just about every Tyler Perry production….SOUL!

Case and Coko team up for the first time for the duet “Face to Face”, while Brandy gives us somewhat of a comeback teaser with the Johnta Austin penned, Eric Hudson produced track “Dig This”. Listeners are also sure to enjoy Kelly Price’s remake of the classic “I’ll Take You There”. Kelly Rowland’s smooth vocals shine on the beautiful ballad “Love Again” and with song selections like this, if you haven’t seen the movie, this 12-track soundtrack will most definitely make you curious.
