Day 26 – Day 26

If you’re like the many that tuned in to MTV’s Making the Band 4-Season 2, then I’m sure you’ve seen the five guys that have been building up buzz for a new album for quite some time now. Well, it’s finally arrived. With the help of super producers Bryan Michael-Cox and Mario Winans, Day26 have put together a great R&B album. While at times very reminiscent to the New Editions and 112’s of the world, these guys are clearly in the process of forming their own styles as a group.

The #1 album features the banging lead single “Got Me Going”, and the soon to be hits “Are We In This Together”, and “Since You’ve Been Gone”, which is a favorite of mine. They also have a hidden exclusive track with label mate group Danity Kane on the album as well. Filled with smooth ballads a few up tempos and top-notch melodies, these guys are CLEARLY on their way to making a huge mark on the R&B scene. I think this project has the potential to be a future gem. With their drive, talent, and obvious passion for their music and craft, I really do think the best is yet to come for this group and this album is proof of just that. Take a listen…..you won’t regret it!
