Bow Wow & Omarion: Face Off

This album is true classic. You have to respect Omarion and Bow Wow’s hustle and creativity. These young guys have truly grown up before our eyes. Face Off is a creative and inspiring album. Every track shows more and more growth from these two guys. You can hear the passion they have for music come through your speakers. I have heard many collaborations recently but this one is unlike the others. These two guys actually respect and like one another, and it truly shows. Even though Face Off is not the most original concept, the music is definitely one of a kind.

The album Face Off features some great productions done by Rick Rubin, T-Pain, and Marcus Houston even produced a track. Some of my favorite tracks on the album were produced by T-Pain. The current single Girlfriend is a true hit. The guys have really hit there target young audience with this one. Another track by T-Pain is He Ain’t Gotta Know this is one of my favorites on the album. The song has a great concept and it very irresistible flow, Bow really shines on this one. Now my favorite track on Face Off would have to be Listen. It reminds me of Destiny’s Child song “Girl”, but the male version. Throughout this song Omarion is trying to warn Bow Wow about a no good hood-rat he is dealing with. The song is like story, it is truly a must listen. The next single off of Face Off is Hey Baby (Jump Off). It is actually one of my least favorites on the album. It really doesn’t do anything for me. It has a great beat though.

The making of this album has had a lot of ups and downs, but it is really an amazing album. I have always been a fan of these two guys. I admire their hustle and their talent. The only thing I found wrong with this album was the fact that Omarion couldn’t really shine. I was hoping with this album he would really show us what he can do, but I guess not. Bow Wow is really trying to show us he is a man now. Face off is definitely a must buy album. Make sure you go grab it.
