Raven: Raven Symone

Raven Symone has definitely been overlooked on the music scene long enough and I think she is ready to get some shine. Equipped with a team of just a few of the industry’s hottest songwriters and producers, the youthful and energetic album taps into an energy not yet seen from Raven.

No stranger to some of the finer things in life, Raven opens up the album with the fun record “That Girl”. She gets to brag about her glitz and glamour on this record and it’s so fun that no offense could be taken. Refusing to cry anymore or at all over lost love is the “Anti-Love Song”. Raven still displays vulnerability on this track, but you definitely get the picture that she is moving on from the situation. The funky, off beat “Green” helps her take over the dance floor while “Love Me or Leave Me” is a no holds barred track about taking her as she comes.

I can honestly say with this album that Raven got me interested in some of her previous work. She definitely stays in her own lane with this effort and leaves herself room to grow so much more on future projects.
