Police officials released Corey McClendon, the Tennessee man who was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the Young Dolph Los Angeles shooting, without charges on Thursday afternoon.
It is still unclear what role McClendon played in the incident. Despite McClendon’s release, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles district attorney office said prosecutors have requested for officials to further investigate McClendon’s involvement in the Hollywood shooting, Los Angeles Times reports.
McClendon was arrested on Wednesday near Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue, where the shooting took place, and was held on $1 million bail.
